MISSION STATEMENT

SAFE HAVEN CHRISTIAN OUTREACH, INC. is a Christian home for male children needing a chance. That’s what we offer, a chance to find a normal life, to find love, to find that we are all more than our circumstances. We are what we have the strength to become.

The ministry of SAFE HAVEN CHRISTIAN OUTREACH, grew from a simple desire to give children who’ve been abused, neglected, or abandoned a chance for a normal and happy life. We strive by giving a solid home and a chance to fulfill God’s plan for their lives.

GOALS

To achieve the mission for children and families of middle Georgia, our focused work efforts, projects and activities will be toward the following strategies:

Ensure Safety and Permanency: Through the Family. We will attempt to draw from the strength and resources of parents and extended family, there resources of the State, strength of other community agencies and individuals in the child's life. The goal is to empower and acknowledge families and assist them in creating a team of supporters.

Ensure the Most Appropriate Placement: First/Best placement will provide early and on-going assessment of the strengths and needs of children and families, case plan development with the family and use of least intrusive interventions will reduce lengths of stay and placement disruptions.

Building and Maintaining Residential Childcare Resources: A team effort will be maintained through continued training of volunteers and associates, so that they will become partners to meet the children and family needs.

Building Community Partnerships: Working with various agencies to help bring family members in partnership with each other.

Using and Developing Resources: Use a variety of services in order to have the least amount of trauma for the child will enable us to serve all children with care.
